Description: Cinnamon-Pecan Spirals

Makes 30 Spirals

6 Tbsp.
sugar

11/4
tsp. ground cinnamon

1 Tbsp.
unsalted butter, melted

1 sheet
frozen puff pastry dough, thawed

½ cup
chopped pecans

1 orange,
zested

1.   
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.

Unfold thawed puff
pastry sheet. Lightly brush with melted butter and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons
cinnamon-sugar. Press into dough. Flip dough and repeat. Roll into 11″ by
16″ rectangle.

In another small bowl,
toss pecans with orange zest. Sprinkle half of the mixture over dough. Fold
dough in half into 11″ by 8″ rectangle. Press remaining nut mixture
into dough, covering surface. Starting from 1 long side, roll into tight log.
Trim edges. Wrap in plastic and chill 20 minutes.

4.   
Cut log into
1/3-inch-thick slices. Place dough slices 2 inches apart on 2 parchment-lined
baking sheets. Bake 10 minutes.
