    The Michelin-starred Hugo’s is Berlin’s most affable gourmet
    restaurant with impeccable service and a stunning 270° view of the city
    skyline. Wood panelling and plush leather set the tone, while the

    Michael Kammeier. The wine list is something to die for and there are
    also private dining rooms for those who prefer privacy.

  5. Borchardt

    Everyone
    of importance, including former Chancellors, dine at Borchardt. The
    historic room is furnished in Wilhelminian style (featuring tall
    columns, wall mosaics and tile flooring) – an appropriate setting for
    the classic French cooking served here. Without a reservation, however,
    even top politicians can’t get a table .

    This
    rising star in Berlin’s gourmet scene has slowly worked towards its

    In this old building, formerly the Berliner Sektkellerei (supposedly the place where sparkling wine, or sekt, was invented), Austrian cuisine is the star. Try the best Wiener schnitzel in town, accompanied by a classic warm potato salad, at consistently good prices. In the summer, there are tables outdoors.
