1 jar (26
oz.) fat-free tomato-basil sauce

1 can (14.5
oz.) diced tomatoes in juice, drained

2 garlic
cloves, crushed

1 container
(16 oz.) low-fat cottage cheese

4 oz.
part-skim mozzarella cheese, finely shredded

6 Tbsp.
freshly grated Romano or Parmesan cheese

olive oil cooking spray

oven-ready (no-boil) lasagna noodles

6 cooked
turkey meatballs, sliced

1 cup fresh
basil leaves

Preheat oven to 375°F.
In bowl, combine sauce, tomatoes, and garlic. In another bowl, combine cottage
cheese, 3/4 cup mozzarella, and 4 tablespoons Romano.

Coat 13″ by
9″ by 2″ baking dish with cooking spray. Spread one-third of sauce in
dish. Place 3 uncooked noodles over sauce. Spread with half of the cheese
mixture, half of the meatballs, and half of the basil; top with 3 more noodles.
Repeat layers with sauce, cheese, meatballs, basil, and 1/2 teaspoon freshly
ground black pepper. Arrange remaining noodles on top; spread with remaining
sauce. Scatter remaining mozzarella and Romano over sauce. Cover dish with
foil.

Bake 45 minutes, or
until noodles are tender. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
