    The
    old market hall was recently restored and rebuilt. The 150-year-old
    glass-and-iron construction now plays host to an eclectic range of craft
    wares.

  2. L Beck am Rathauseck

    Department store with a great selection of fashion, lingerie, stationery, and music.

  3. Hugendubel, Marienplatz

    Largest store for books in the city. There are branches on Stachus, in the Fünf Höfe, and in several other locations.

  4. Alois Dallmayr

    Not
    to be missed is this former supplier to the royal court. Gourmet
    delicacies and coffee are on the ground floor and an excellent
    restaurant is on the second floor.

    Small but very fine furniture store, with home decor and gift departments.

  6. Fan Shops for FC Bayern & TSV München 1960 Football Clubs

    Team
    shirts and more. Stores selling souvenirs of the two local football
    clubs are located near Hofbräuhaus; they are almost directly opposite
    one another.
