Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, and their newborn son, who was born in May all took part in the photo shoot on Malibu Beach on December of British Vogue.

Rihanna said she didn’t know she was expecting her second child while she was on the cover of the new issue of British Vogue

On Wednesday, the star posted a few photos from the shoot along with a proud caption: ‘How crazy both of my babies were in these photos and mommy had no clue,’

Her unnamed son was also deemed fine by the proud mother.

Rihanna stunned the audience at Sunday’s Super Bowl Halftime Show by announcing her second pregnancy to the world.

In addition, she expressed gratitude to Edward Enniful, Inez van Lamsweerde, and Vinoodh Matadin, “for celebrating us as a family!”

We don’t know when the singer found out she was pregnant with her second child or how far along she is.

She also shared the backstory to her decision to perform at this year’s Super Bowl, after initially declining the offer four years ago in support of former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

‘There’s still a lot of mending to be done in my eyes, but it’s powerful to break those doors, and have representation at such a high, high level and a consistent level,’ she said.

The critically acclaimed halftime show by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar was a year prior to her performance.

‘Two Super Bowls back-to-back, you know, representing the urban community, globally. It is powerful. It sends a really strong message,’ she added.

She spoke frankly about the daunting task of raising a Black son in the modern world.

‘You’re like, “What am I leaving my kids to? This is the planet they’re gonna be living on?” All of those things really start to hit differently,’ she said.

The singer went on to say that becoming a mother gave her the confidence to accept the Super Bowl gig only a few months after giving birth to her first child, and seven years after her last performance.

‘It’s this knowing that you can do anything, even things that seem the craziest, like, “I’m going to say yes to the Super Bowl in the middle of postpartum?”‘ she said

‘What the heck am I thinking? But you’re geeked on a challenge like that because you know what your body just did. You feel this sense of “Nothing is impossible,”‘

She continued, ‘When I accepted the job, I had no idea I would be expecting my second child. It was almost like an out-of-body experience.’

‘I have not been on stage in seven years. Seven years! From zero to Super Bowl? That’s mental,’ she joked.

She said that she wanted to take the Super Bowl stage for one reason only ‘to perform for her devoted fans’

‘I want to put on a show. I want to have fun. I haven’t done this in a minute and I’m doing this for the people that love my music, the people that have supported me and gotten me to this place in my career,’ she said.

‘And who miss me as a musician in particular. It’s me really just getting back onstage – a crazy stage to be back on – but I’m really doing this for my fans,’
