After a courageous fight against cancer, the Walford hairdresser will pass away in dramatic fashion.
Lola was given the tragic news that she only had months to live not long ago, but her treatment had ceased working, making it clear that her illness was terminal.
Weeks passed in tragedy as physicians repeatedly told Lola they could do no more to help.
Lola was brought home from the hospital so that she could spend her final days with her loved ones, especially her daughter Lexi.
In the next scene, the nurse comes in and says goodbyes because there will be long periods of unconsciousness.
By the end of the week, the town of Walford is in mourning and disbelief after Lola’s untimely death.
