The latest injuries for the Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks are updated

Memphis will play host to the final match of Dallas’s three-game road trip on Monday night. The Mavericks beat the Spurs and the Lakers in their first two games on the trip. Five of Memphis’s last six games have been wins. It beat Golden State by a score of 133-119 on Saturday.

FOR THE GRIZZLIES

Memphis has been a topic of discussion in the NBA due to star guard Ja Morant’s suspension because off some off-court drama, but the Grizzlies have quietly been playing will since losing the first two games after he went out.

They have won five of their last six games coming into this matchup, including an overtime win at San Antonio on Friday and a 133-119 win against Golden State on Saturday.

Jaren Jackson Jr. has led the team in scoring in three straight games, finishing with 31 points and four blocks against the Warriors. Desmond Bane had 26 points while Dillon Brooks had 18 points on 7 of 10 shooting.

The Grizzlies held Golden State to 7 of 21 from the floor in the fourth quarter, including 1 of 8 from 3-point range.

Guard Tyus Jones had 13 points and matched his career high with 14 assists, reaching double figures in assists for the fourth time in his last six games since stepping into a starting role.

Morant’s suspension is now up, and he is eligible to return on Monday, but he is not going to play until later in the week after spending two weeks away from basketball.

He leads the Grizzlies with 27.1 points, 8.2 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game. They rank tenth in the NBA in scoring (116.1) and are facing a Dallas defense that is No. 14 (113.3).

FOR THE MAVERICKS

A thigh injury has kept Dallas’s star player Luka Doncic out of the last four games. Against Memphis, he might or might not play.

Doncic could miss Monday’s game against Memphis because of an injury to his thigh.

Doncic has missed the last four games because of his thigh injury, but he has made good progress since he practiced fully on Thursday.

But it’s still not clear if he’ll be able to play in the game on Monday. The Mavericks will rotate their backcourt players based on whether or not Kyrie Irving (foot) is available if the 24-year-old stays out.

The Mavericks have won their last two games and are ready to play the Grizzlies. This is because Maxi Kleber made a 3-pointer at the end of Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers, which helped Dallas win 111-110. Kleber’s 10 points helped the team win.

Kyrie Irving came back after hurting his foot and led the Mavericks with 38 points. He also got six boards and passed the ball six times.

Irving might not be able to play against Memphis on Monday because of a foot injury.

Irving played against the Lakers on Friday after missing three games. He didn’t seem to be limited in any way, as he had 38 points, six rebounds, and six assists in 39 minutes. Even though his right foot is still hurting, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him play against the Grizzlies.

The Mavericks Injury

  • Kyrie Irving (Foot): Game Time Decision
  • Luka Doncic (Thigh): Game Time Decision
  • Markieff Morris (Knee): Game Time Decision
