This young mother, Nadine Lott lost her battle for life yesterday after being violently and viciously assaulted last weekend after returning home from a night out in Arklow, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.

Nadine Lott is the 10th woman to die this year in Ireland as a result of domestic violence.

Nadine leaves behind a beautiful little girl who will now never know her mums love and hugs.

If you know someone, man or woman is a victim of abuse don’t turn away, do something.

Abuse is never acceptable in any form against males females young or old.

RIP Nadine ♥️

On average 137 women across the world are killed by a partner or family member every day, according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

They say it makes “the home the most likely place for a woman to be killed”.

More than half of the 87,000 women killed in 2017 were reported as dying at the hands of those closest to them.

Of that figure, approximately 30,000 women were killed by an intimate partner and another 20,000 by a relative.
