A photo of Britney from her younger years appears on the cover, wearing metallic booty shorts and nothing else, with her blonde hair worn loose.

There is only one speck of color on the monochrome cover: her name in pink.

According to Jennifer Bergstrom, Senior Vice President and Publisher of Gallery Books, which is an imprint of Simon & Schuster, the memoir has been acquired: “Britney’s compelling testimony in open court shook the world, changed laws, and showed her inspiring strength and bravery.”

Adding, “I have no doubt her memoir will have a similar impact — and will be the publishing event of the year. We couldn’t be more proud to help her share her story at last.”

“This book illuminates the enduring power of music and love – and the importance of a woman telling her own story.”

Despite Britney’s $15 million book deal, it’s been dubbed “brave” and “astonishingly moving”.
