Alex discussed her plans to train for the Olympics while still competing for an amateur team last month.

She said: “It’s fully 100% Now, OnlyFans, because I didn’t have the time anymore with the long rides, the gym, the double daily sessions to do personal training anymore.

“I got an OnlyFans account in 2021… It’s helping me totally survive pay my rent, pay for groceries, and it covers the cycling and the coffee bills. I just had to buy a TT bike and that was not fun… It’s the only way right now, I don’t have to work eight hours a day; I can maximise my training!”

Alex’s ultimate objective is to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Her previous Olympic participation ended in tears. After taking some time off due to a misunderstanding, Alex found out that she had been selected to compete in South Korea.

She made light of the challenge of making the switch to cycling by saying: “I do have the patience. I do plan on doing this for a long time. I don’t plan on settling and buying a house and having kids and buying dogs anytime soon.”

The Canadian concluded: “I’m gonna work my a*** off until I get there.”
