Camila Morrone, Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend, looked stunning in a fresh photo shoot on Monday morning.

Camila Morrone talks about moving to New York City for the ‘energy’

The red carpet darling was spotted wearing Valentino for Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book.

The 25-year-old actress wore a pink and white swimsuit that highlighted her flat and toned belly.

Her mocha dark hair was draped down over her shoulders and she looked every inch the aspiring supermodel in the two piece.

This comes after she received critical acclaim for her performance as Camila Alvarez in Reese Witherspoon’s famous series Daisy Jones & The Six. Taylor Jenkins Reid’s novel of the same name inspired the Amazon Prime program.

‘I like to play roles that are stepping stones to challenges. One has to be more challenging than the next,’ she said.

She will next be seen in Gonzo Girl, a film based on Cheryl Della Pietra’s novel of the same name.

Willem Defoe and Patricia Arquette, who is directing the picture, will be her co-stars.

Morrone will then star in the romantic heist film Marmalade alongside Stranger Things’ Joe Keerey.

She also came to New York City after growing up in Los Angeles, according to the website.

She enjoys the energy that Manhattan provides.

‘Every time I’ve come to New York as an adult, I feel I’ve been fed,’ she said.

‘It really is an artist’s city. There is such a plethora of stimulating, interesting things to do. I know everyone talks about the “energy” of New York, but it really is true.

‘There is a ‘fight for survival’ energy here that makes you your best—it makes you work harder, learn more, and be faster on your feet.’

For Leo, according to a source close, despite their divorce last summer following a years-long romance, she is still in regular contact with Leo.

‘They’re on fantastic terms; they see one other all the time because they share custody of their puppy,’ according to the insider.

During lockdown in 2020, Camila and Leo fostered two husky puppies, but after rehoming one of them, Jack, they opted to adopt his sibling, Sally.

The couple started dating in 2018, when Leo was 43 and Camila was only 20.

Despite their 23-year age difference, the pair established their commitment by dating for several years.

However, the pair split barely one month after Camila’s 25th birthday.
