Her Instagram post with the message “Can’t come to the phone rn” drew adoring comments from fans and previous Love Island contestants alike.

“Like how you are real,” Lucinda Strafford, who recently returned from a trip to Italy with Anna-May, said.

Rosie Seabrook wrote: “Bodyyy”, and Ellie Spence added: “Oh wow.”

Anna-May, 20, didn’t find love while on the hit reality TV show at the beginning of the year, but it didn’t stop her from gaining a slew of followers.

She admitted on Johnny Seifert’s Secure The Insecure Podcast that she found the whole thing overwhelming.

“I like having five minutes for myself, I like spending time by myself and I think being in a villa where you’re surrounded by people 24/7, even though I love them all to bits, I find it quite difficult sometimes, especially when you’re talking all the time,” she told him.

“It’s very, very tiring in there – very tiring.”

The next season of Love Island will debut in the United Kingdom in June, with the most recent batch of contestants slated to go to Majorca next month to begin production.

“ITV have already lined up the islanders who will be heading to the show’s villa in Majorca,” said a source.

“The cast will fly out late next month in preparation for the show’s premiere in just eight weeks.”

“It’s extremely exciting, and everyone involved with the show can’t wait to get started.”

“This series will last eight weeks, which means the winning couple will be in the villa for two months.”

Meanwhile, plans for an international Love Island spin-off called Love Island Games are beginning to emerge.

It will bring together former Love Island competitors from the UK, Australia, and the United States, however it is expected to be televised only in the United States at first.
