Melanie Sykes, a TV host, is moving on from her toy-boy phase and into a more mature, “high sex drive” relationship after a year of singlehood.

Mel has always dated much younger men; her current boyfriend, Riccardo Simionato, is 27 years her junior.

After a year of being alone after her breakup with the Italian gondolier, Mel allegedly says she’s ready to settle down with an older man who can provide for her in the bedroom and elsewhere.

According to OK! Magazine, Mel’s buddy said, “Mel is desperate to find someone new, but she’s over the thrill of a toy-boy relationship and she’s looking to find her other half.”

“She’s made it no secret that she has a high sex drive and now after taking a break from dating, she’s ready to find a man her age that can really match her energy, both emotionally and physically.”

Mel has often demonstrated in her romantic experiences that age is not a barrier to developing feelings for another person.

After divorcing Daniel Caltagirone, with whom she had two children, in 2009, she married Jack Cockings, then 25 years old, in 2013.

Mel had dated 14-year her junior German golf pro Martin Kaymer.
