The blood of a python has stained the clothing of Rosie Moore, the “sexiest scientist in the world.”

She told her followers that she had gone “full Florida” with her latest endeavor, wrestling the large snake with her bare hands, and that she was wearing a highly visible jacket to emphasize this point.

She suffered a bloody lip as a result of the encounter; nevertheless, despite widespread belief that she was bitten by a snake, she insists that not all is as it looks.

She claims she ran into a limb while reaching for it, rather than the monstrous snake plunging its fangs into her face.

She posts a video to Instagram in which she is clutching the snake while its tail whips violently, appearing little surprised by the blood dripping down her face.

She captioned the video, “I’ve gone full Florida woman.”

“And no, the Python did not bite me, I ran into a branch trying to get it.”

She then tagged her friend, writing, “Always a good time looking for pythons with the best!”

While holding the snake between her two hands, she gives a pained grin to the cameraperson, who asks, “Let us know how you’re doing, Rosie.”

Next, she inquires, “Is that hot?” the person filming you threatens, “We’ll tell everyone that the snake bit you on the face,” before continuing, “We’ll tell everyone that the snake bit you on the face.”

Rosie wonders, “Is it bleeding a lot?” despite the huge grin on her face as she finds the humor in the situation.

The cameraman then commented, “Yeah, your teeth are all red – show us your teeth, that’s actually pretty good.”

The interaction has been well received by fans, who have liked the post nearly 5,000 times as of this writing.

Inquiring minds want to know, “Is the tree okay?”

And someone another chimed in,  “That’s one of those injuries where you wish it was caused by something cooler. Any way glad it’s fine”.
