A woman has posted a video on YouTube of herself giving birth, which has been viewed by more than a million people.

The birth of 26-year-old Australian Sarah Stevenson’s first child is available for all to see on her health and fitness YouTube channel Sarah’s Day.

The 25-minute long video posted on 29 March, three days after the birth, takes viewers through the whole birthing process, starting with her first contractions.

The graphic video, which has now had 1.4 million views, shows Sarah lying on her back with her legs spread wincing and groaning, trying to push the baby out.

The moment her water is broken is also captured on camera.

Later, she is standing naked in the shower, crying with pain.
